Chinese not that easy

The 4th textbook can hardly be called "Made Easy". First, too many new characters and words are introduced in each new lesson, while the exercise book forces you to spend the most time with dictionary instead of learning the stuff from the textbook. By the end of the day you are completely overwhelmed. The gap between the 3rd and the 4th books is so huge that you would need another language course to use in-between at least for a year. The 4th book is written for a genius, not a regular student. I speak several languages and have an idea about how a it works.

I am Chinese teacher in a public school. I use Chinese made easy for my teaching I love it, students love it. As the enrollment is grow, I need textbook 4. School bought for me, so I return the textbook 4, I want to buy textbook 5 later.
