My wife bought this book and I'm reading it and I have to say this is one of the most honest and realistic diet books I've seen in years. It doesn't promise overnight success, but it does give you the tools to finally gain control over cravings and overeating when you're not even hungry, which is my problem. The mindful eating workshop in the appendix is worth the price of the book alone. I'm just a week into the 6-week program but have already become more thoughtful about what foods I keep in the house and what I put in my mouth. The workouts in the book are designed for women, so they won't help me much, but the diet advice and psychology of eating info is spot on for me. This is a refreshing and smart book in a flood of new diet books that offer little more than marketing hype.

As a woman in my mid 40's I found that my motivation had fallen short. 20 lbs younger has gotten me back on track with easy eating advice, fitness tips and lots of other little health boosters that are really simple to do to improve how I feel and look... it's very different from other books it doesn't make me stick to a set diet, which enables me to keep enjoying my life while I lose weight. Confidence comes through knowledge and I am getting that with this fine read!

I LOVE this book!! So many helpful tips and it is a written in a way that is simple and easy to follow. I have already started foam rolling and meditating. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking to make a health a priority in 2015! This book is not another fad diet it is a way of life.
