About the Author

Jason is cocky and quite full of himself, "like hanging a sock on the door knob when you’re horny and looking for a little of this.” He gestured down his body." When it comes to Aylee he's quite the charmer, "Jason’s eyes got dark and he pulled me close. “I’ve got a ride for you right here,” he rolled his hips into mine, “if you want to hop on." Jason was just a sexy guy, "lowering his hands to my a**, he squeezed and pushed his arousal into me. “Don’t worry, I know how I’m going to keep you occupied." I loved this book it was different and I loved how Leslie brings her characters to life

I don't think I have the words to describe how good No Limit is. Jason and Aylee are perfect together and the chemistry and sizzling!! Alpha can be describes in so many ways but when these two get together, alpha is taken to another level.
Jason is someone who hasn't found himself of his better half. When he meets Aylee it is something about her that brings the real him out. Since he is an undercover agent, it is hard to really have a life and this job really has him at his wits end. He is protective of Aylee before he even realizes it and the attraction is undeniable.
Aylee is a FBI agent who grew up sooner that she needed to. She has a side to her that has made her the woman that she is. She's not afraid, she's ruthless when she needs to be and she gets what she wants. The mission at hand is dangerous but she feels she has to do this for the victims and I also think she has to do this for herself.
Jason and Aylee face a lot of drama, which makes the book even better because the drama is mostly them not getting along. They play around and get to business when they need to. Aylee is a risk taker but she proves that not only is she gorgeous but she is also smart and that is needed in the game that is being played.
There were so many twists and turns with No Limit. So what do I think of the characters. Well Jason is hot!! He is strong willed which may not be the best things for him. He loves hard and at times he throws "temper tantrums" when he can't get his way. Jason's background is different and seeing all of the things he has seen puts him in a different category. I love Aylee. She is strong. She doesn't take crap from anyone and she has her head on straight. The mission is important to both of them for different reasons.
L.P. Dover can do NO wrong with this upcoming series. I can't wait to get more. I thought the Gloves Off series was excellent and maybe, just maybe, we'll see some of those guys n this series. This series is going to be fantastic!!

Sexy and dangerous new leading man, yummy!

No Limit is about this undercover cop, Jason, working a case in Las Vegas, where prostitutes are popping up dead all over the city. Getting nowhere fast, Jason is surprised and pissed that the FBI is moving in on his game with Special Agent Aylee McFadden. Jason, not used to working with a partner for a while, and her presence making him feel inadequate, hates Aylee right off the bat! Aylee is open minded and willing to work with Jason until he shows his bad side to her!
Jason has gotten the case list down to a few suspects, four business men that play high stakes poker games at the casino together. Now that Aylee has joined the team, she can help by posing as a prostitute accompanying Jason during his visit to sin city, and try and get close to the sleazeballs, Drake, Chazz, Mark and the big kahuna Mr. Randall.
The story was pretty serious, but not extremely intense. Only a few moments in the book were intense, but as a whole I didn't feel on edge constantly. The basis for the story was strong and kept my attention, and the writing held me to the pages. The dialogue was outstanding! Jason and Aylee were two screwed up people that were able to do what they had to in order to solve this case. During the investigation, Jason realized early on that in order to be able to trust one another with their lives, they had to open up and share their hurtful pasts with each other.
The character development was pretty detailed, I mean it had to be to suit the story. When Aylee was telling Jason her story, Niagara Falls... I think Jason even shed a tear during that part! Once I heard Jason's story, I totally understood why he was the way he was, and instead of pissing me, and Aylee off, it made him more endearing. The intense moments were scary because Aylee's life was on the line each time, and Jason couldn't do anything, it was so frustrating and scary! The unlikely friendships that developed were a nice touch, which is what made the ending so damn awesome, and yes, more crying...
I absolutely loved the story, the sexual build up, the new budding romance, and the scary action-packed scenes with the suspects. I am a new reader of LP's and now she has a new and enthused fan!
